Underfloor Heating Thermostatic Mixing Blending Valve

£76.99 inc VAT

Thermostatic mixing blending valve for water underfloor heating systems.

Adjustable 35–65°C mixed-water temperature range, factory set to 45°C and designed for use with UFH manifolds.

Description

Underfloor Heating Thermostatic Mixing Blending Valve

The Underfloor Heating Thermostatic Mixing Blending Valve is designed to control the water temperature supplied to wet underfloor heating systems. It mixes hotter primary water with cooler return water to provide a stable and controlled flow temperature to the underfloor heating manifold and pipe circuits.

With an adjustable mixed-water temperature range of 35°C to 65°C and a factory setting of approximately 45°C, the valve provides flexible temperature control for a wide range of water underfloor heating installations.

Key Features

Designed for Water Underfloor Heating – Controls the flow temperature supplied to the UFH manifold and heating circuits.

Thermostatic Temperature Control – Automatically blends hotter primary water with cooler UFH return water.

35°C–65°C Adjustable Range – Allows the mixed-water temperature to be adjusted according to the requirements of the underfloor heating system.

Factory Set to 45°C – Supplied with a factory mixed-water temperature setting of approximately 45°C

Compatible with UFH Manifolds – Suitable for use with compatible flow and return underfloor heating manifolds.

Pump Not Included – The blending valve is supplied without a circulation pump and can be combined with a suitable UFH pump where required.

How Does an Underfloor Heating Blending Valve Work?

Water underfloor heating normally operates at a lower flow temperature than conventional radiator systems. A thermostatic mixing valve combines hotter water from the primary heating circuit with cooler return water from the UFH system.

The mixed water is then supplied to the underfloor heating manifold, helping maintain the selected flow temperature before the water circulates through the individual UFH pipe loops.

This provides controlled water temperature and helps protect the underfloor heating system and floor construction from excessively high flow temperatures.
