Description
Water Underfloor Heating Non-Mixing Pump Station for Air Source Heat Pumps
The Underfloor Heating Non-Mixing Pump Station is designed for water UFH systems where the heat source already supplies water at the correct underfloor heating flow temperature.
Unlike a conventional UFH pump set with a thermostatic blending valve, this non-mixing pump station does not mix the flow and return water to reduce the temperature. This makes it particularly suitable for air source heat pump (ASHP) underfloor heating systems and other low-temperature heating systems where additional temperature blending is not required.
The unit provides a practical connection between the heat source, circulation pump and underfloor heating manifold, with 1½” pump connections and compatibility with a 130 mm circulation pump.
Key Features
Non-Mixing / Non-Blending Design – Designed for UFH systems where the correct flow temperature is already controlled by the heat source.
Ideal for Air Source Heat Pumps – Particularly suitable for low-temperature ASHP underfloor heating systems.
No Thermostatic Blending Valve Required – Allows the heat source to supply water directly to the UFH system without unnecessary temperature mixing.
Suitable for Dedicated UFH Systems – Can be used with heat pumps or boilers supplying water at a temperature already suitable for underfloor heating.
130 mm Pump Spacing – Designed for use with a compatible 130 mm circulation pump.
1½” Pump Connections – Provides standard connections for a compatible circulation pump.
Compact Pump Station – Provides a simple solution for connecting a suitable circulation pump to a water underfloor heating manifold.

Why Use a Non-Mixing Pump Station with a Heat Pump?
Underfloor heating works particularly well with low-temperature heat sources such as air source heat pumps.
In a conventional high-temperature heating system, a thermostatic blending valve may be required to mix hotter primary water with cooler return water before supplying the UFH manifold.
Where an air source heat pump is already producing water at the required UFH flow temperature, additional blending may not be necessary. A non-mixing UFH pump station allows the system to circulate this water through the underfloor heating manifold without unnecessarily mixing it down further.
This can provide a simpler arrangement for appropriately designed low-temperature UFH systems.
Suitable For
- Air source heat pump underfloor heating systems
- Low-temperature water UFH systems
- Brass and stainless steel UFH manifolds
- Dedicated underfloor heating systems
- New UFH installations
- Systems where flow temperature is controlled by the heat source
Important Installation Information
This non-mixing pump station does not regulate or reduce the incoming water temperature.
It should therefore only be used where the heat source and system controls are designed to provide a suitable flow temperature for the underfloor heating installation.
The system should be designed, installed and commissioned by a suitably qualified heating professional.
Complete Your UFH System
Combine the non-mixing pump station with a compatible 130 mm circulation pump and our range of underfloor heating manifolds for a low-temperature water UFH installation.
For systems requiring local temperature reduction at the manifold, choose a thermostatic blending valve or UFH pump and blending valve set instead.
